Wycombe's first team had an impressive victory against Slough in the first game of the season, played away at the Polish Club, Slough.

Wycombe went 1-0 down in the first 2 minutes, after Slough were awarded a penalty. Slough went on to dominate most of the first half but despite this, did not look like scoring.

In the second half Wycombe were awarded a penalty, of which Su Oakley had no problem putting past Slough's keeper. With this, Wycombe gained some more confidence and with it came a few more chances from Su and Twinkle, who were unlucky not to convert any goals. But their persistance paid off when Twinkle scored and Wycombe managed to hold out unitll the final whistle. An excellent start to the season girls!!!

FINAL SCORE: WWLFC 2 SLOUGH 1
