What a season, with one game to go we sit proudly 5th in the league with a record 29 points to our name.
We achieved a first for the club this year by reaching the first round proper of the F.A. cup and putting up a good performance against Bedford Toown.
We gave a fantastic account of ourselves against Chesham narrowly losing 4--3 a game I still think we could of won.
Our league performances this year have been nothing short of remarkable, with very few players available to us we have managed to become a team that is known to be organised and capable of beating anyone in our league. we are the only team to take points off the runaway leaders reading, and with the exception of Bracknell no other team has done the double over us.
I would like to thank our players for all the time and effort they have put in this year, and remind you that you have now set your standards higher for next season.
A special thanks must go to our core players the players that quite literally play every week, without them we would not be able to compete at this level: Heather,Hazel, Esther,Charlie,Kirsty,Twiggy,Leah and Su.
To all our other players thankyou and I hope you can commit just a little more next season.
Finally a massive thankyou to Speedie his help and support has been invaluable this season and now he is a qualified bouncer perhaps he can do the door at the presentation.
